WELCOME TO TRAILHEAD ESCAPE
"Trailhead Escape" is located in the heart of Suncadia Resort in the desirable Trailhead Condo complex. This is the premier ground floor unit on the corner just steps from the shared pool, hot tub, and BBQ area. The pool is just steps from the condo and parents can feel secure watching their kids while drinking a cold beverage on the private deck. This luxury condo features a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This is an ideal retreat for a family or two couples.

From the moment you walk in the door you’ll feel right at home in this luxurious two bedroom condo. The main living area boasts a full, granite kitchen with stainless appliances and a gas cooktop. There’s seating for 6 at the dining table which offers views of the pool. The comfortable couches and chairs offer a relaxing spot to watch your favorite show or just warm up around the cozy gas fireplace.

Just off the great room is a covered deck that is within steps of the shared pool, hot tub, and BBQ area. From the deck you’ll enjoy views of the Prospector Golf Course Driving Range. The pool and hot tub are open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The HOA often keeps the hot tub open after Labor Day, but its weather dependent.

The master bedroom features a king bed, large TV and a private en-suite tile bathroom. The bathroom boasts a deep soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. The queen guest bedroom also has a large smart TV, and a private deck through the sliding doors. Just outside the bedroom is the 2nd bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The living room couch pulls out into a queen bed. There’s sleeping accommodations for 6.

** Please note, we are unable to offer access to the Suncadia Swim and fitness center at this time due to resort regulations that are out of our control. You will not be charged a nightly resort fee when renting this vacation home. There is parking for up to 2 vehicles in the general parking lot in front of the condo building.

In general this was a fine experience. Specific directions to the unit were not explicit - could use some more detail. The condo was fine, although on the cold side in the evening even with turning the heat up. They get you with a cleaning AND dog fee which combined is excessive and then leave an envelope to tip the cleaners. They also ask you to strip the beds and start a load of towels. Again on top of $140 cleaning fee.

Thanks for staying with us, and we appreciate the review. We have no hidden fees when you book. It's up to you when you book if you want to bring a dog and pay a pet fee. In addition, the cleaning fee is clearly displayed when you book on our site, VRBO, or Airbnb. Leaving a tip for the housekeeper is totally up to you, and definitely not required. The directions and access code instructions are very specific, and we tell guests not to follow GPS up here.

The only caveat to an otherwise great review is that we paid 140.00 for a cleaning fee. Which is understandable but we were also given an extensive list of chores we needed to complete upon leaving. I am not sure what the 140.00 is paying for..., the unit was immaculate when we left with laundry going and dishes in the dishwasher.

Wonderful location within Suncadia. Good size rustic style condo. The overall setup is perfect for either a small family or two couples. Pool heating was unfortunately not working making pool almost unusable as water was ice cold and jets on hot tub also didn’t work. Internet in the condo was spotty (kept going in/out) and the DVD player was not working possibly needs a new HDMI cable. Condo could benefit for more kitchen gadgets (no pizza cutter).

We have stayed at this same condo and unit several times now and were once again pleased with our experience. Very fast and prompt responses when we have questions and the unit itself is well kept-up and kitchen stocked. No issues at all and we recommend it for families of 4 or less and those needing a pet-friendly rental.

What a wonderful stay! We spent a lot of time exploring Suncadia, Cle Elum, Roslyn and more! The unit was a perfect location and all the amenities we wanted. It was very relaxing and I highly recommend for anyone traveling for the weekend. It was very comfortable and a memorable weekend.

My family and I had a great time at the Trailhead condos in Suncadia. This was our 3rd time renting the same condo unit so we’re very familiar with the location, amenities, etc. The unit is well-stocked and very clean and the staff is very responsive to any questions. It was nice that the adjacent condo building is completed now as it had been under construction the past 2 years so no more construction and noise happening. The only issue we had was twice during our 5 day visit the hot tub was “closed for maintenance” for several hours but not sure why. The same thing happened the last time we were there so must be some issue that keeps happening but not a huge deal. We love the fact that the unit is dog-friendly and access to the pool/hot tub is so easy and fast via the back patio.

Yoy have to strip all the beds, start the laundry, start the dishwasher and take out the trash. We pay a cleaning fee and I would think this would be included. It is at most of vacation rentals. otherwise, a very lovely experience.

Cold pool and broken hot tub

The condo itself was perfect! Fyi The HOA/owners of the Trailhead building don't heat the pool (summer time) and unfortunately the hot tub is not in good working order and was broken for more than half our stay. On multiple mornings I watched maintenance filling the pool from the hose so the pool would never warm up.

Our family of 4, plus dog, loved Trailhead Escape for 4 days over the fourth of July. We were there for a wedding, but spent the most time in the pool, biking along the paths and visiting local sites. Home is lovely, well appointed and super clean. Proximity to the pool is perfect for young kids - just walk out. And it's not loud with other guests as the pool seems under-used. Note, when you book through All Seasons, you cannot visit the Suncadia pools, but that was never a problem for us - we felt like we had our own private pool outside our door. Some construction next door, FYI, but over the weekend all was quiet.

We came over to do some snowmobiling in Ronald so the location was perfect. The condo was very clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and we especially liked that it was on the ground floor. My daughter really liked the doggie basket of goodies. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located for access to a sledding hill right out the back door; 1 min drive to nice dining at the lodge; very comfortable place that fit all 5 of us and a dog! We hope to go back soon!

We had a very nice experience with the rental company and with the condo. We’ve stayed many times in the lodge but never the Trailhead and we’re pleased with how quiet it was! The proximity to the lodge and other Suncadia amenities is great. Will definitely be booking again.<br/>

My Father and I stayed at this location for a weekend family getaway and loved every second. The room was spotless, away from the busy parts of Suncadia, yet close enough to stay in the action. We were greeted by Elk both Friday and Saturday right outside the complex. Luxury living in the wilderness. I cannot wait to stay here again.

My family and I had a great time at the Trailhead condos. This was our 2nd time staying at Trailhead but this unit was our favorite by far. The unit was stocked well with towels, kitchen supplies, etc. and the location was so convenient because we could literally walk from the patio to the pool/hot tub. Having such fast and easy access to the pool/hot tub was really helpful and there were lots of toys/games for kids plus a nice little “doggy bag” four our York ie (we didn’t use it but still a nice touch). My only complain is the construction next door as they are building more condos but I knew that ahead of time and it wasn’t a big deal really. Everything in the condo was just great- couldn’t have asked for more and it’s nice being such a short walk to the Inn, Lodge, driving range, etc. I highly recommend this place for families wanting to enjoy Suncadia and have access to the pool. The owners were also very responsive hte few times I had questions. We will be back again for sure

Late April Family & Friends Getaway

My family of 4 along with a dog and two parakeets stayed here for a week in late April with another couple. We got in plenty of golf, hiking, biking, dining, and cooking. Condo was greatly situated near the driving range and trails and was very clean and well stocked. <br/><br/>The only reason for a 4-star and not a 5-star is that it's difficult to be spitting distance from a pool and hot tub and not be able to use it. We were well aware we did not have access to the community pool and fitness center as well as the pool we were next to was closed. Regardless, the main pool is heated so figure it out. If you can't, then you need to figure out a way to make arrangements with Suncadia to have a handful of buy-in day pass options. There are too many benefits to have that be available year round and no excuse for it to be inaccessible.

Thanks for the great review and it sounds like you guys had a wonderful time! For others reading this review, this condo does not have access to Suncadia's two pools, and you can not purchase day passes. The condo does have access to the outdoor pool and hot tub at the condo complex. The pool and hot tub are just a few feet off the back deck, but being that they are outdoors they are only open during the summer months, Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. They may open a couple weeks earlier or stay open later in September, but that is always a last minute decision made by the condo HOA. Thanks for staying with us! OUr family enjoyed out short stay at Trailhead. The Condo was clean, well appointed and had extra personal touches including a dog basket and small treats for our kids. Great access to trails in a relatively quiet location.
